Lead Interior Designer while working for Think+Shift

Chillbox Creative is a small video production company with a large list of clients. With a limited budget we needed to create defined areas within the minimal downstairs space, away from the studio and mezzanine office. The entrance area doubles as an casual meeting place, and leads to a formal meeting room sectioned behind glass paneling.

As Chillbox is all about telling stories through pixels, the idea of playing with a grid and cubes was translated into custom designed furniture fittings that display their work as well as define the space. We used natural textures such as a feature black stained timber wall, jute rug, and custom timber furniture. These paired with directors chairs, vintage cameras, and trophies to channel the character and personality of the company.
